Santander
The excursion begins with pick-up at the Stables of the Magdalena Palace. From there, a panoramic tour is taken along Santander’s main beaches, highlighting their natural surroundings and views of the Cantabrian Sea, including a climb up to the lighthouse to enjoy one of the best panoramic views of the city. Next, the group heads to the city center for a guided tour of its most emblematic areas, combining history, architecture, and local life. The visit continues at the Centro Botín, a cultural and artistic landmark of the city, before returning to the Magdalena Palace, where the experience concludes with a welcome cocktail in a unique setting.

Tuesday- 2nd June 2026
Altamira Neocave, Santillana del Mar and Comillas
The excursion begins with pick-up at the Gran Casino Sardinero and transfer to Altamira, where a guided tour of the Neocave takes place. This is a faithful reproduction of the famous cave paintings, followed by a visit to the Altamira Museum, which helps visitors understand the historical and artistic significance of the original site. The tour then continues to Santillana del Mar, one of the best-preserved medieval complexes in Spain, with a guided visit through its historic center and entrance to the Collegiate Church, a gem of Cantabrian Romanesque architecture. Lunch is served at the Parador of Santillana del Mar, in a setting of great cultural and heritage value. In the afternoon, the excursion heads to Comillas to discover its outstanding architectural heritage, with guided visits to the Sobrellano Palace and its Chapel-Pantheon, and to Gaudí’s Capricho, one of the most unique works of Modernism. Finally, return to Santander.

Wednesday- 3rd June 2026
Cabárceno Nature Park
The excursion begins with pick-up at the Magdalena Palace along with the congress attendees and transfer to the Cabárceno Nature Park. Upon arrival, lunch is served at the restaurant El Oso, located in a privileged natural setting. After lunch, the visit to the park takes place, where visitors explore its vast open spaces that house numerous animal species in semi-freedom, set within a unique landscape shaped by former mining operations. At the end of the visit, return to Santander, arriving at the Gran Casino Sardinero.

Potes and Picos de Europa
The excursion begins with pick-up at the Gran Casino Sardinero and transfer to the heart of the Picos de Europa. One of the highlights of the tour is the ride on the Fuente Dé Cable Car, which offers spectacular panoramic views of the mountain range and its natural surroundings. Next, the journey continues to Potes, the historic capital of the Liébana region, where a guided tour takes place to explore its old town, medieval bridges, and rich cultural heritage. After lunch, there is free time to stroll leisurely through the town and enjoy its local atmosphere. Finally, return to Santander, arriving at the Gran Casino Sardinero.

El Soplao Caves and San Vicente de la Barquera
The excursion begins with pick-up at the Gran Casino Sardinero and transfer inland within Cantabria for a guided tour of the El Soplao Caves, one of the most spectacular geological sites in Europe, famous for the abundance and preservation of its stalactite and stalagmite formations. Next, the tour continues to San Vicente de la Barquera, one of the region’s most emblematic fishing villages, where visitors enjoy an aperitif and a stroll through its historic center, with views of the estuary, the port, and the backdrop of the Picos de Europa. At the end of the visit, return to Santander, arriving at the Stables of the Magdalena Palace.
